Description

Philip Dubois is specialized in networking, GNU/Linux, free & open source virtualization technologies like Xen, KVM and OpenVZ and data center technologies like openQRM and UEC. His task as an IT researcher in the Lab is to follow up on all these rapidly growing technologies and research on how to successfully implement and manage them in a SME's datacenter. Philip is also a co-architect to the first and second independent virtualization benchmark. Together with Tijl, he also maintains our own IT infrastructure.

 

Philip achieved his bachelor's degree MCT-NW with great honors, after a first successful internship at the Sizing Servers Lab in 2008. After his SCJP and Cisco Networking Academy certification, he continued his studies to obtain a master's degree in engineering: ICT, while working on the "Private Virtual Cloud" project as his thesis subject.
